Wide Open Experimental Film Festival is excited to host a new series of work-in-progress feedback sessions for experimental filmmakers in OKC. We'll meet every other month on the second Tuesday at Oklahoma Film Exchange, starting September 8 at 7pm. At each session, we will watch two or three short films, and 30 - 45 minute discussion will follow each.

Our hope with WOEFForum is to build a collaborative and supportive experimental film community. Together, we can share work, get input to strength in-progress films, and trade ideas, techniques, and inspiration!​

If you have a short experimental film in progress and would like to participate in WOEFForum, email wideopeneff@gmail.com to request a spot. We will take sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis, and we plan to schedule two works-in-progress per session. If there is more interest, we may add more dates. Note that this sessions are only open to those who can attend in-person, and only open to short films, though running times may vary.

Sessions will be facilitated by WOEFF Director Billy Palumbo, professor of film at Oklahoma City University. He will help each filmmaker craft questions to cultivate the most productive discussions.
